Intro Blog- Hey It’s Anton
Hey folks welcome to the new blog! Let me start by letting you guys get to know me first. My name is Anton, I was born in Malmö Sweden and I currently live in the United States. I moved to Florida when I was 4 and I still make an effort to see my family overseas as often as possible. I love being outdoors and in nature as much as possible as I was practically raised in the woods and mountains. I prefer the northern rocky woodsy terrain but I really don’t mind where I am as long as I can get the chance to be outside. I have a few hobbies that I really enjoy. I rock climb, mostly indoors in the climbing gyms due to the fact that I live in the flatness that is Florida. But I highly prefer climbing outdoors on real rock as it just hits in such a better way that I can’t really describe. My favorite color is green, but not just any green specifically dark greens like pine. I cant stand lime green or yellow greens. I love adventuring, and although that may sound like an exaggeration, when I find myself home in Sweden I am constantly on the move, hiking and climbing in the woods. This is usually when I take the chance to shoot some film or digital. I love photography, I am completely obsessed with the art hence why I am interested in this film course. When I first started I took photos everyday religiously. But since I have calmed down, spending more time getting a quality shot as opposed to hundreds of shots. I am also very fond of cooking food. I am the leader of my schools culinary program, sinking many hours a week into cooking for schoolwide events. Cooking is such a practical skill, I really enjoy it, it occupies my brain most of the time. This summer I spent a decent chunk of my time working at a National Park. It was the Stenshuvud National Park in Sweden, and I loved every second of it. I got to spend my days outside in the shining sun and take care of animals and the trails of the park. Something similar to that would be quite an honor to have as a job later in life. Especially if they'd let me shoot film there.
It was a pleasure, goodbye.
