Research and Planning- My Commercial

 Hey folks, welcome back to the blog! Today's blog is gonna be all about the prep for the upcoming "Me" commercial, this commercial is going to be all about the information I talked about in the pervious blog. To start off my commercial I'm thinking about sketching a rough storyboard for how I think the commercial is going to flow. And my choice of editing software I have decided on is going to be premiere pro. Honestly it's my favorite software to work with since it allows me access to all the cool gimmicks and tricks I'll need to make this mini commercial  flow well. And premiere is also so good at making my clips pretty and appealing to the eyes. I'm to start my story board off with an establishing shot of me walking in the woods or some sort of grassy area. This is to portray to the audience that I am an outdoor person from the very beginning without having to bring it up later. It will also display the favoritism and fondness I have for the color green as I will also continue to use it throughout the commercial. The costume choice I will use for the shot will be hiking attire and backpacking clothes, this will be done to further push the idea of my involvement in the great outdoors. The next clip in the story board will be a picture of me with a wild goat in my uniform from the time I worked at a National Park over the summer. Following that clip will be a second video of me biking on a abandoned railway track in Sweden. This will be included as I love exploring and nothing screams adventure more than exploring abandoned railways in the wilderness. The next clip will be a photo of me sitting on the side of a cliff in Sweden, not only because it just looks cool but because it represents my love of rock climbing. The last two clips will be one of a picture of a lady bug I took out in the woods. This would be there to represent my passion for photography. And the closing shot of the commercial will be a clip of me with some frogs I caught in the woods. I will edit these clips together in premiere pro and I will color grade them all to make them as appealing as possible. The choice of music I would like to use is the song Wyoming by Elijah Fox, just because it's so calming and peaceful and that's the vibe I believe nature gives off so its only fitting that the commercial fits that vibe. If the song isn't long enough for the commercial the second choice I have picked out is thew song 3 by Aphex Twin. And that is a wrap for my planning, thank you all for reading!

Production Blog- First Successes

 Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! Todays topic is about the first few sessions of filming for the music video. The Florida weather finally cleared up and was sunny for the first time in a while. I took this opportunity of good weather to start the filming process for a few scenes. The scenes I wanted to get finished up where the, forest  scene, the beach scene and the open field  scene. I planned to film these three scenes throughout the course of two days. For the beach scene I needed to catch the sunrise to make the scene more pleasing to the eyes. So I needed to be up at at the beach at around 7:00 in the morning to film. I spent the first day filming on the beach and got all the clips I needed for the scene. All I brought with me was a tripod and the costume I chose for the film session.
