Final Task- Peer Review

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to todays blog! Todays topic is going to be focused mainly about a peer review of the Final Task recently finished. The following text will be takes from a friend of mine who gave his time to watch and critically review my Final Task. "The sequence, while gripping and atmospheric, also presented several areas for improvement. Firstly, the use of eerie music and sound effects effectively set the proper mood and created a sense of suspense right from the start. The choice of soundtrack greatly enhanced the anticipation, making it a standout element that should definitely be kept. However, the pacing of the title sequence seemed a bit rushed. Slowing down the transitions between scenes and allowing certain shots to linger could amplify the immersion and build a stronger connection with the audience. Visually, the use of lighting and shadows was commendable. The interplay of light and dark added depth to the scenes and added to the overall atmosphere. Maintaining this attention to detail in future scenes will undoubtedly enrich the film's visual storytelling. However it is obvious to see at time that the lighting affected the cameras focus a few times and this takes away from the smoothness of the sequence. The choice of typography for the title cards was bold and fitting for the genre, but the placement and timing of the text could be improved for better readability and impact. Experimenting with different positions would be a good effort. One aspect that truly stood out was the creative use of other media within the film sequence. The creation of one's own EAS alarm system was incredibly creative and cool to see done. Maintaining this level of creativity throughout the film will undoubtedly enrich the viewing experience. With some adjustments to pacing, and narrative clarity, the sequence could evolve into a truly haunting and memorable opening that sets the stage for an unforgettable cinematic experience. " This is all the time I have for today.

It was a pleasure, goodbye.
