My Group For The Final Task
Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! Today is about creating the group and the pitch for this final task. For this final task I decided that I am going to be working with a good friend of mine from school, Sophie. Sophie and I have known each other for a long time and we share the same interests in videography and photography . Sophie and I are buddies, and we totally vibe with each other's creative juices, making our decision-making super easy. The cool thing is, we're practically neighbors with one another! Living so close means we can turn our creative ideas into a killer project. Opting to collaborate with a local friend has its perks, the easy brainstorming, checking out locations together, and playing around with different shots without the whole distance headache. Together we have decided on a genre choice; we choose horror. Specifically dystopian style horror although this is subject to tweaking. This genre of horror resonates deeply with both of us, its something we both find so interesting. And horror is a genre I feel is not done enough so I would love to try to change that by making a horror style film myself. This genre can easily be unique and special as it delves into the darker sides to life we often leave out in our day to day lives which makes it so special. Which is another reason why we chose this genre. This flexibility that horror provides us is such an advantage because it gives us more creative liberty and options to make a unique, high quality video which stands out compared to the more common genres. The horror genre and Its ability to evoke intense emotions and suspense within a confined timeframe is unparalleled, making it a perfect reason to use it for this Final Task. This genre also provides versatility for exploration of diverse themes, from psychological horror to supernatural elements, enabling us to make a higher quality video.
It was a pleasure, goodbye.
